H.M. Pitt Labs has provided consulting, laboratory & industrial hygiene services to the environmental community since 1991. It is our mission to provide customers with accurate, legally-defensible lab analyses, informed interpretation of analytical data, and essential monitoring services in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. We strive to be the laboratory of choice by providing comprehensive, highly-qualified, and trustworthy programs to meet the varied needs of our clients.
In keeping with the spirit of our mission we have gathered a professional team that includes analytical chemists, California Certified Asbestos Consultants, ACAC Certified Microbial Consultants, industrial hygiene technicians, trained microscopists, California DHS Certified Lead Professionals, and EPA-Certified Lead Professionals. The team is lead by Leland S. Pitt, an experienced Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Marine Chemist. This team provides a combined experience of over 7 decades in the industrial hygiene and environmental fields to our clients.
Since our inception, H.M. Pitt Labs has been highly successful at serving large and small abatement companies, private citizens, government agencies, and private companies. Our client list includes: The Department of the Army, US Naval facilities throughout the United States and in Cuba, US Air Force facilities, and school districts across Southern California. Although most of our customers are local to the Southern California area, the lab has completed jobs throughout the states of California, Texas, Arizona, Washington, Hawaii, Georgia, Virginia and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and in Japan.
